Ancient Macedonians
So, this was an easy choice to do next.

The first half of my 15mm Ancients project is the Macedonians.
My little army consists of.
40 x Companion Cavalry
320 x Sarissa Armed infantry
40 x Hypaspists
146 Mercenary Heavy Infantry
12 x Heavy Mercenary Cavalry
24 x Light Cavalry
26 x Skirmishers
12 x Skirmish Cavalry
12 x Mercenary Heavy Cavalry
48 x Light Infantry
7 x Commanders
A total of 687 models.
The Great War
Late WWI is up next. Figures from Renegade Miniatures which sadly seem to be no longer available. These were painted a very long time ago so it's just sheer laziness on my part to not have finished them off.
British 196 Figures, 2 Tanks and 2 Artillery Pieces.
German 163 Figures, 1 Tank and 2 Artillery Pieces.
Not much to do to finish this collection. Some markings on the tanks and artillery and finishing off on the bases. This is the current state of play for this little lot.

Finished off the last of my 15mm Macedonians this morning and took the photos whilst waiting for the glue to dry on the flock.
Pretty happy with how they turned out. Sure, they are not the greatest paint jobs I've ever done, but on mass they look ok in my opinion.
All the bases have been tidied up and had the edges painted but I didn't see the point in retaking pictures of every unit again.
I have an Ancient India army to do as opposition but will probably do something else before coming back to those.

It's all Greek to me.
I have been slowly plodding along with this little project, although there was a slight delay whilst waiting on another delivery of figures and decals.
I went with unarmed Greeks for most of my mercenaries. I just like the different shield options that they can have.
I painted up enough to form either 2 large Phalanx or 4 smaller units. Combined with the previous Mercenaries I painted up I now have enough to form the second line for the centre.
I have double the number of Companion Cavalry, added 3 units of Light Cavalry and 10 bases of Skirmishers.
