Judge Dredd - Campaign Part 2

Cursed Earth Encounter

Following the Atomic Wars of 2070 most of the United States became a radioactive wasteland. With only the three Mega-Cities surviving (on the East Coast, California, and Texas), the remainder of the country became known as the "Cursed Earth". Although considered unfit for human habitation, the Cursed Earth is populated by all manner of creatures, scraping a living in a tough environment. Since the Atomic Wars, genetic mutations appeared, but mutants are banned from living in the cities, so they are forced to make their homes in the Cursed Earth. The communities are mostly poor, rural groupings with no industry, often dominated by quasi-religious movements. In more extreme cases, these communities become cults organised well enough to threaten Mega-City One as a revenge for the way the city has treated these outcasts.

The Angel Gang.

The Angel Gang are the most infamous and feared band of thugs ever to come out of Texas City, the Angel Gang were responsible for a near endless string of crimes with one overriding common factor - they were all quite unnecessarily violent.

Mutants

Mutants are de novo mutations created by Radiation or radioactive contamination following the Great Atom War of 2070 and later after the Apocalypse War of 2104. Their genetic mutations (which are inherited by their children) cause them to exhibit bizarre physical deformities.

Due to the ban on citizenship, mutants are forced to live in the radioactive wasteland outside the city, the inhospitable and lawless Cursed Earth.

This encounter saw Mean Machine Angel taking on a gang of Cursed Earth Desperadoes.

Set amongst some rocky crags our group of Mutants chance across a lone wanderer.

  

Looking to circle their pray the Desperadoes split up.

Unfortunately the lone wanderer turns out to be none other than Mean Machine Angel.

  Turning his dial up to '3' Mean Machine sets about tearing the terrified Desperadoes limb from limb.

 Until only the leaders are left to fight it out.

Well this was an incredibly short game.  Mean Machine is a real Powerhouse on the battlefield and it will be some time before any other gangs can become even close to matching the full strength of the complete Angel Gang.
